Pronto is built on trust. These guidelines exist to keep the platform safe, honest, and useful for everyone. We enforce them seriously — violations can result in suspension or a permanent ban.
Pronto is for independent Pros who offer legitimate, legal services to customers in their community. This includes (but is not limited to):
The following are strictly prohibited on Pronto. Offering, requesting, or arranging any of these will result in immediate removal and may be reported to authorities:
Adult or sexual services
Any service of a sexual nature, regardless of how it is described.
Illegal services
Any service that violates Canadian federal law, Alberta law, or Calgary bylaws.
Services involving minors inappropriately
Any service that could put a minor at risk or that violates laws protecting children.
Fraud or deception
Creating a fake profile, misrepresenting your qualifications, or charging for services not delivered.
Harassment or threats
Threatening, harassing, or intimidating any customer, Pro, or Pronto staff member.
Services requiring unlicensed professional credentials
Offering medical procedures, legal advice, or other regulated professional services without the required licence.
Scams or phishing
Using the platform to collect personal information under false pretences or to redirect users to fraudulent payment systems.
If you see something on Pronto that violates these guidelines, use the "Report this Pro" button on any Pro's booking page. We review all reports and take action when needed. You can also email us directly at hello@workpronto.app.
Depending on the severity of a violation, Pronto may issue a warning, temporarily suspend an account, or permanently ban a user. We reserve the right to take any of these actions at our sole discretion. Serious violations — especially those involving minors or illegal activity — will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
These guidelines protect everyone — including you.
If you're ever unsure whether something is allowed, email us before posting. We'd rather answer a question than have to remove your account.
