What we collect
When you create an account or use Pronto, we collect the following information:
- Your name, email address, and phone number (provided during signup)
- Your profile photo (if you choose to upload one)
- Your service listings, pricing, and availability settings
- Booking information — dates, times, services booked, client and worker details
- Reviews and ratings left on your profile
- Your booking link (slug) and public profile information
How we use your information
- To operate your booking page and allow clients to book you
- To send you SMS notifications when a client books you (if you provided a phone number)
- To send you emails about your account, bookings, and platform updates
- To send clients booking confirmations and reminders
- To operate and improve the Pronto platform
- To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
What we share
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in these circumstances:
- With clients who book you: your name, service details, and contact information (if you make it public)
- With service providers: we use Supabase (database), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting) to operate the platform. These providers process your data only as needed to deliver services.
- For legal reasons: if required by law, a court order, or to protect the safety of our users
Your public profile
Your booking page at workpronto.app/[your-link] is public. This means your name, profile photo, services, prices, and reviews are visible to anyone on the internet. Your email address is never shown publicly. Your phone number and address are only shown publicly if you choose to display them in your profile settings.
Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If your account is removed for a Terms of Service violation, we may retain certain records for safety, legal, and enforcement purposes.
Your rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@workpronto.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and applicable Canadian federal privacy laws, including PIPEDA.
